One of the most unique villages of the Albanian Alps, Thethi located in a valley at about 900m above sea level and has historically formed by the union of 7 districts: Boga, Gjeçaj, Nikgjonaj, Gjelaj, Okol, Ndreaj and Ulaj Kolaj. Reaching it is not exactly simple: the road is in fact precariously narrow, extremely steep and at the edge of a precipice, until to descent to the valley after hours of steep path.
Totalitarian regimes that have occurred over the decades here deporting political prisoners. Thethi has become a small village: in the winter is inhabited by only 8 families.
